Hi again :)

Hi Guys... So excited about christmas being sooooo close!
Although lm NOT yet finished all the things l wonna get done,
I am happy to say I'm almost there.
I know its the craziest time of the year but creatively its AWESOME!!!
I made these christmas shortbreads this morning.
I got the recipie out of the
latest free Safeway magazine you get at the counter.
So l thought l'd share the recipie...
So easy to make & very
YUM.

Ingredients:
250g Western Star Butter, softened

2/3 Cup Pure Icing Sugar

2 Cups Plain Flour

1 Cup Rice Flour

1 Tsp Castor Sugar, for Sprinking

Makes about 30

Method:
Process (or beat with electric mixer) all ingredients except castor sugar until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Press mixture together until it forms a dough, Divide dough into two. Roll out dough between two sheets of baking paper until 5mm thick. Using the cookie cutter of your choice, cut out the shapes from the dough. Sprinkle with castor sugar & bake at 160 degrees for 30 minutes or until dry & firm but still pale. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely. ENJOY!!!

I also made these fabric balls over the weekend as a kris kringle gift
for a one year old girl.
You can find the pattern HERE.

Also thought l'd share a few more layouts....

Well thats all for today... Take Care

Recipe to share

Rice Cream

This recipe is my favorite recipe! I got it of the Internet a few years ago now (cant remember were) It is totally foolproof and soooooo YUMMY.....

You will need:

2 Cups arborio rice, ( Risotto Rice )

4 Cups cold water

1 Tin sweetened condensed milk

1 Cup cream

Extra milk

Method:

1) Place rice and cold water in a medium saucepan, bring to the boil, cover, simmer for 15 minutes, or until soft. Stir occasionally so rice does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan.

2) Add condensed milk and cream, stir and leave stand for 5 minutes.

3) The rice will thicken on standing, as it absorbs the condensed milk and cream, so add extra milk until it reaches the consistency you like best.
ENJOY WARM OR COLD :)
Until next time, take care

Lots to share....

Hi Everyone... Big post to share with you all today!
I have been flat out creating this month.

This one is of Keegan... lol.
This photo was taken a while back. Tyler took it apon
himself to photo shop it.
I have to say it is one of my favourites.

I'll NEVER forget this day!
Keegan was playing in the yard and much
to my horror
created this MUD MASTERPIECE!
He was so totally proud.

What kid doesnt LOVE liking the bowl, and the spoon
and then sharing with their face after a day of baking???

This is a layout l did at Paula's retreat in June 2010. I had such a wonderful time.

I cant believe Tyler is ALREADY 13!!!!
Time just goes way to fast.

Now just a few of my handmade flowers.

Anyway thats all for now.....

Take Care and happy creating.
